Glau had the ability to maximize her athletic skills due to her training to be an assassin. Summer Glau was classically-trained as ballerina. She also has studied tango and Flamenco, but an injury to her foot ended her dance career. Firefly featured only one episode but was a huge hit. Whedon was so devoted to Firefly that he decided to return two years after. Summer Glau, however, received quality work. The actress was on television shows such as Cold Case and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
