April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. Her most well-known role is for her role as Stacy Barrett, the American television character on Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Her career began with modeling and moved on to television and film. Her first small-screen appearance came as an extra on the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation followed by single-episode appearances in other series. Soon, she landed the part as Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby has received worldwide attention due to her character, Stacy Barrett, in the successful show Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played Rita Farr/Elastigirl from the American web-series Titans. A spin-off from the show Doom Patrol will see her returning to the character. Bowlby has also appeared in TV movies like Sands of Oblivion and The Wrong Daughter.
