Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered to be one of the most outstanding athletes. As a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few to achieve four golds in a single Games at the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first to hold three world titles consecutively. Biles and her younger sister Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman, when she was just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles, who won silver and gold medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 with the elite category of the competition. In just two short years, she became the best in her sport. What set Biles out was her consistency her exuberant personality as well as the level of challenge she integrated into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
